In the last decade
people have become busier than ever. We have less time and more obligations. Successful
therapy involves a commitment on the part of the client. Once that commitment becomes an
obligation the success of therapy can be undermined. Dr. Morris understands that
your work and family are also serious commitments in your life. For some people, taking
additional time away from these important aspects of life can counteract the
benefits of the therapeutic process. Dr. Morris believes that for therapy to be most
effective the obstacles of everyday living must be accommodated.
Traditionally, home
visits were limited to the infirmed or impoverished. While it is essential that these
populations receive services in this manner, Dr. Morris recognizes that the benefit could
be brought to others as well. If you would prefer Dr. Morris can come to your home or
office. Some people prefer the discretion, others prefer the convenience. You simply
may be more comfortable in your own environment. All of these factors can be important to
your progress and your aim for positive change.
